It has been two years since we found that the underground water in the village does not meet the drinking standard, but the tap water that can be laid at the door of the house has been unable to enter the house. On March 17, the villagers of Bolin village in Xiaolan Industrial Park in Nanchang County called the news hotline, hoping that the reporter could help them to ask when they could drink "convenient water" and "safe water".
There are about 2000 villagers in Bolin village of Xiaolan Industrial Park. As early as 2009, villagers found that the underground water source in the village did not meet the drinking standard. In order to solve the problem of drinking water, the local authorities set up several centralized water intake points in the village. However, in the next two years, the tap water that has been laid at the door of the house has not been able to enter the house, leading to the long-term inconvenience of drinking water for villagers.
"I thought that if the well was drilled deeper, the water could be used, but it turned out that it still couldn't be used." Luo Xiaoyong, a villager of Beishou natural village in Bolin village, stood beside his pressure well and said helplessly that the depth of the well in a villager's home is about 15 meters. In order to get more safe drinking water, at the end of last year, his well extended to 50 meters underground. For this, he spent several hundred yuan more. The results show that the water seems to be "clean" and still gives off a peculiar smell after boiling. Now the water in the well can only be used for washing clothes, flushing toilets and bathing. Luo Xiaoyong said: "in the past, well water could be drunk directly, and it was a little sweet."
Luo Xiaoyong said that this kind of problem exists in the wells of the whole village, and it is already an "old problem". As early as 2009, villagers found that the water from the well had peculiar smell and sediment. In September of that year, villagers sent water to Nanchang mineral resources supervision and testing center of Ministry of land and resources for testing. It is found that the pH value and nitrate of groundwater are unqualified. The inspection conclusion issued by the test report is that the sample does not meet the requirements of the sanitary standard for drinking water (pH and nitrate are unqualified).
After the detection results came out, the villagers no longer dare to directly drink groundwater. After several requests, the local relevant departments opened tap water, and set up several centralized water intake points in the village in advance. There are two water intake points in Beishou natural village of Bolin village, through which more than 1000 people in the village can drink.
Local villagers told reporters that since it has been found that the groundwater does not meet the drinking water standards, the relevant departments should find out the source of pollution as soon as possible and inform the degree of harm. In addition, it is obviously unreasonable to set up only two water intake points in a village with more than 1000 people. Since the water pipe has been laid in the village, it is necessary to enter the house as soon as possible so that the villagers can drink "safe water" as soon as possible.
